Marigold Mud Straps
The mud strap is designed to provide extra security for boots and help prevent them from coming off. It is especially useful for horses that overreach/interfere, boots that aren't a perfect fit, or when riding in deep mud and other extreme terrain. The mud strap is made of very strong thermoplastic urethane (TPU) and is designed to stretch when placed under load so the strap will not affect the horse’s pasterns if fitted correctly. It is used instead of the pastern strap and provides a more streamlined alternative to the pastern straps and pastern strap locks.
Mud straps are now manufactured in black and marigold only.

XX Small - fits 00, 0
X Small - fits 1, 2
Small - fits 3, 4
Medium - fits 5, 6
Large - fits 7
X Large - fits 8
XX Large - fits 9
XXX Large - fits 10, 11
NOTE: It's not uncommon for horses to need one size larger mud strap than indicated. If your horse is in the larger size boots of a mud strap sizing range and is at all big-boned, we recommend going with the next size up. Mud straps that aren't the right size can be exchanged as long as they are in new condition and returned with all the original packaging.
Mud straps are sold in pairs so a quantity of "1" will include 2 mud straps and sliders as well as 4 clear mud strap sleeves.
